ΣΕΙΡΑ LEGNO
LEGNO surfaces is a new wood subproduct that developed and prodeced in Greece. It's a composite material made by solid wood, liquified marble, resins and aggregate .
USES
LEGNO is suitable for almost all uses of the other industrial surfaces (MDF plywood etc). Typically, general table surfaces, work benches, kitchen and furniture doors, kitchen countertops, furniture components, wall linings, safety door hinges, door panels, serving dishes, floors etc. can be manufactured.

TIMBER
The timber options are solid wood coming from from Greek sawmills, exclusively. The wood is subject to complex processes of drying, mold-removal, and stabilization in order to make the appliance of liquified marble possible and increase the durability.
LIQUIFIED MARBLE
Marble based mortar, aggregate, stabilizers and epoxy resins are mixed and combined with the processed timber in vacuum chambers. The colour options are shown in the table bellow.

DURABILITY
The surfaces are resilient to mild and hard cleaning products. The final user should treat it like any wooden surface. In case of kitchen countertops, direct contact with hot utensils should be avoided. Resistant to scratches is moderate and LEGNO should not be used as cutting surface. Outdoor uses are recommended only in roofed places. Especially in the case of white marble, direct exposure to sunlight is not recommended.
CUTTING - SHAPING
LEGNO surfaces can be processed with conventional carpentry tools. The tools attrition, however, is increased by about 25% compared to solid wood. Τherefore, for extended use, tools suitable for Corian are recommended.

DIMENSIONS
As a rule and for easy of handling and processing, LEGNO is produced in three main categories:
-Thickness 18mm. On top of plywood or MDF panels with dimensions 102x250x0.9cm, a 0.9mm LEGNO is applied. Additional layers of plywood or MDF can be added, if greater thickness is required.
-Thickness 21mm. Two-sided LEGNO surface without additional substrate.
-Thickness 42mm Selected trunk section. Liquified marble is used to fill the empty spaces.
* The final thickness of trunk tables may have a 10% divergence.
